February 16, 2007  –  Saved By Grace From Kenosha / Burlington WI – Saved By Grace Need we say more??? Our friends, Saved By Grace, have been playing and recording together for many years. The band is led by Joey Halbur who also owns a recording studio. Their Blues/Rock music is always a favorite here at Josiah's Place/Overflowing Cup. Saved by Grace is a Christian rhythm and blues band. Take one part Third Day and one part Blues Traveler, throw in some silly jokes and a powerful testimony, and you'll have a pretty good idea of what SBG is all about. It is always a rockin' good time when they are here. Plan on a night filled with, singing, dancing, (who can sit still during "David's Boogie?" ????) and just plain fun. Come on out and welcome our old friends back!!
Mission Statement of Saved By Grace : As a Christian band we are, first and foremost, Christians! The band is the tool by which we portray the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are entertaining, professional, and fun to watch BUT, if you walk away from an SBG show with nothing more than a deeper love for the Lord Jesus Christ we have achieved our prime directive! We will keep the audience up and having a great time with an energetic stage presence and a spectacular sound and light show but it's when we talk about Jesus that the true meaning of what we do and who we do it for shines through.
