December 23, 2017  –  Lisa Weyerhaeuser and The Madrigals from Gurnee, IL. – Lisa will be doing a Christmas Concert with the Madrigals. The Madrigals is a group of Christian women musicians. She also has a contemporary band and has worked with MANY musicians over the years. Here is some comments by Lisa regarding her ministry...... . I am a singer songwriter who loves God and I’ve been singing and writing about my life and faith since I was a kid. I am truly grateful that I get to do what I love to do, meeting great people and playing music alongside some amazing artists and musicians. It’s been quite a ride, with ups and downs and everything in between. These days I continue to write and play music, touring pretty regularly, and am also actively involved at the church my husband (who is the senior pastor) and I have been a part of for over 30 years. I still occasionally teach as an adjunct professor at Trinity International University and do some counseling as well. I love being a mom to three amazing boys who are growing in every way. I am also part of a community dedicated to help other artists on their own musical pilgrimage, through an organization called StrongTree productions. As I look back, I am humbled by the path on which God has taken me. I am deeply grateful for the many people who I have had the honor of knowing and working with on the journey.
