After receiving her degree in music from the University of Wisconsin she spent several years directing music in church and teaching piano. When expecting her third (of five) children, Cherie stepped away from a career path in music , and focused on raising her children. It wasn't until a mission trip to Uganda in 2009 that the Lord began a new work... whispering music in her heart. Cherie began writing down the music and when the songs continued to overflow, she ventured into a recording studio. This step of faith began the journey.... sharing her heart and the love that Jesus has for His people with others. There is an annointing upon her lyrics and her music that captivates her audience.
