Paul Ellingsen's latest band is a dynamic Gospel Folk group featuring the vocals, folksy guitar picking and soulful harmonica playing of Paul Ellingsen, Cece plays bass & occasionally some mandolin leads, John Kiefer is still our faithful percussionist, & recently we have added Allen Carlson who is a quite accomplished pianist.

June 15, 2007 – Isaiah 42:10 From Portage WI – Isaiah 42:10 is coming back after an wonderful night with us in February. Isaiah 42:10 is not just a Christian band trying to entertain their audience. "We want to serve God to our full potential. We are each called to be servants, to meet others' needs, to tell of the love that God has for the unsaved, and to touch and encourage the already saved. We take our ministry very seriously, giving our best to God in all we do. Our prayer is for the Holy Spirit to work through our music to touch people for Christ. As a ministry, we are more than music. At our concerts, expect us to talk openly about God's love, to pray over the sick, and to set the captives free!" We had a lot of fun last time. Come on out and join us as we praise the Lord!

mimicKingJesus
From Lake Orion, MI –
MmmicKingJesus is a group that is new to the Cup. They describe themselves as "Christ driven Alternative Acoustic Folk".
Wes, lead singer, has been through some tough times, but God faithfully led him through and brought him to this place where he follows the lead of Jesus. His words, music and spirit are inspired by prayer. He prays that "something you hear will lead your spirit to Jesus, and you too will live your life to mimicKing Jesus."

Eric Bath Band
From Milwaukee, WI –
In the mood for some Bluesy Rock and Roll? Come on out and hear the Eric Bath Band. Eric Bath says: (we want to be) "Salt and Light to a lost and dying world." Although we love to encourage Christians it is our aim to be a whole lot more than just entertainment for other believers. We would prefer to be known as Musicians who are Christians rather than Christian Musicians. Christian defines who we are as people, not the genre of music we perform. Every song doesn't have to be about Jesus, but every song will be written from the perspective of someone who can't live a millisecond without Him! When Christ is that important to you, it can't help but come out in everything you do including your music."
Sounds like a great evening! Welcome Eric Bath back to the "Cup" and see how much fun it is to honor God in song!"
