August 04, 2006  –  Annual Street Dance This annual event, sponsored by the City of Beloit, will be happening right outside our door. We'll suspend our concert schedule for this night out of respect for this event. Lets all come out and mingle with our downtown neighbors.

August 11, 2006  –  "...for such a time as this" From Dexter MO – "...for such a time as this" is a hardcore Christian rock band from Dexter MO. Their music is a mix of rock/screamo/alternative. "...for such a time as this" wants ou to know Christian and hardcore rock can go together! They say on their website: "We do this all for the glory of Christ, our Lord and Savior."

August 12, 2006  –  Jeff and Lynda Fuqua From Cannelton, IN – Pastor Fuqua and his wife currently live in Cannelton IN. They travel together as part of their country gospel/evangelism ministry and they hope to be a blessing to whomever they encounter and whomever the Lord puts in their path.

August 18, 2006  –  Ray White of the Frank Zappa Band and Ed Englerth From Eastern USA – The legendary Ray White, former vocalist and guitarist from "THE FRANK ZAPPA BAND" is going on the road with a great show, full of story telling, with a mix of Zappa stuff and his own original music. This is a great opportunity to hear some awesome music and testimony. Ray loves to interact with the crowd and is excited to come to the Cup and share with us.

Ray will be playing with Ed Englerth; his work can be described as "moody, intelegent folk, blues, and jazz." Ed has been playing in bands since the early 70's. He has played music with many known artists, including Joe English (Wings), Robin Ribbins (Bob Seger), Jan Lrist, John Lawry (Petra), Xalt, Armanda, Asian and Earthen Vessel. He is the founding member and songwriter for the band LAB (Linear Action Band). This will be a very interesting night of blues, rock, folk, jazz and exprerimental music and stories. We tryust that those who attend this show will go away inspired and entertained. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear some one of a kind music. DO NOT MISS THIS!! August 25, 2006  –  Calvary Praise Band From Rockford, IL – You will want to welcome back "CALVARY" Praise Band. They are a very upbeat, contemporary Christian band that loves to glorify God by playing uplifting music with a positive message. We had a great time the last time they ministered to us. They play both original music and also cover many contemporary Christian artists (Third Day, Michael W. Smith, Soncic Flood, U2, Jars of Clay, FFH and Delirious to name a few). "CALVARY" members are Bryan Redington (lead vocals / guitar / keyboards), Tom Wilson (lead vocals / guitar), Deb Kartheiser (lead vocals / 12 string guitar), Matt Medernach (bass), Tim Austin (drums / percussion), amy Engler (keyboards), and Emily Hahn-Austin (vocals).
